Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions embody the complete agreement between the parties regarding the sale of the product(s) listed in an Invoice. No additional conditions or terms, listed in the Buyer’s order or delivered in prior or subsequent communications, will be binding upon the Seller.
ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS
All purchases are accepted and processed according to these terms and conditions based on the purchase acknowledgment. The acknowledgment is considered a copy of the order or an electronic transaction. Upon acknowledgment, the Seller is required to provide the applicable goods and deliver the said goods.
DELIVERY
Curbside delivery service means that your item will be delivered to the curb at the end of your driveway. Placement of the item on the driveway, sidewalk, or in the home and package removal is not provided.
A valid street address is required to process the order.
If there is a mistake in the delivery address, contact us within 24 hours of placing the order.
If the product is shipped to the wrong address, the Buyer is responsible for any additional shipping and handling charges.
The Seller is not responsible for any expenses, loss, or damage due to non-delivery by the specified date.
Inspection upon delivery: Customers must inspect the contents before signing the bill of lading. All damages and missing parts must be reported within 48 hours.
Failure to comply will disqualify customers from merchandise replacement. The Seller is not responsible for transportation, shipping, removal, labor, or installation charges.
ORDER MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION
Orders may be canceled within 48 hours with the Seller’s written approval.
Credit card transactions: A 4% transaction fee will be deducted.
Once shipped, cancellations will incur a 20% cancellation fee of the order price.
Special orders cannot be canceled.
The Seller may cancel an order if:
The Buyer breaches the contract.
The Buyer becomes insolvent or files for bankruptcy.
PAYMENT
The Buyer has 30 days to fully pay the order price.
Overdue payments will incur an interest of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowable by law.
The Buyer is responsible for any costs incurred in collecting overdue payments, including attorney fees.
TAXES
The Buyer acknowledges that government taxes or charges may be applied to the sale.
Freight costs and applicable taxes are included in the invoice’s total amount.
PRODUCTION LEAD TIME
Standard lead time: 14 business days.
Expedited orders: 4 business days (if marked 'Expedited Lead Time').
Special orders: 14-18 weeks (requires confirmation).
Lead time starts after full payment and signed sales order confirmation.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Designer Doors & Building Supply provides a limited warranty for all products. By purchasing, the Buyer agrees to the warranty terms.
Note: To qualify for warranty, doors must be installed by a licensed professional with proper equipment. Warranty claims must follow the instructions on the [Warranty Page].
DIMENSIONAL TOLERANCE
Measurements are determined at shipment. Exposure to temperature and moisture may affect dimensions.
Doors Width: ±1/8 inch knockdown unit
Pre-hung Height: ±1/8 inch
Thickness: ±1/16 inch
Hinge Mortises Location: ±1/16 inch
Lock Fronts Location: ±1/16 inch
Recommended Prefit Clearances
Non-fire-rated doors: 3/16 inch clearance
Lock Edge, Single Door: 3/16 inch clearance
Meeting Edges, Pairs: 1/8 inch per leaf
PRICES
Prices can change at any time without notice.
Taxes or charges imposed by the government are not included.
TRANSPORTATION & RISK OF LOSS
The Seller chooses the shipment method unless otherwise specified.
Ownership transfers to the Buyer upon delivery.
Refusing delivery means repudiation of this agreement.
Free delivery applies only to the initial attempt.
The Buyer is responsible for customs clearance and broker fees for shipments outside the USA.
WARRANTY & DISCLAIMER
We strive to present accurate product information. However, we do not guarantee accuracy at all times. Always confirm with our managers.
INDEMNIFICATION
The Buyer agrees to indemnify and defend the Seller against any losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from product defects, misuse, or contract breaches.
SPECIAL ORDERS
No refunds or returns on special orders (pre-hung, pre-cut, customized doors).
REFUNDS & RETURNS
No refunds or returns on pre-hung, pre-cut, or customized doors.
Products can be returned within 45 days, except final sale items.
20% restocking fee applies.
Buyer pays all return shipping costs.
Refunds are processed only after warehouse inspection.
Installed doors are non-returnable.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Designer Doors & Building Supply is not responsible for:
Any damages, loss of business, or incidental/consequential damages.
Claims beyond the amount paid for the product or service.
For pre-hung doors damaged in transit, we reserve the right to replace only the damaged parts.
APPLICABLE LAW - RESALE OR EXPORT
All purchases are for personal use only and cannot be resold or exported unless compliant with U.S. laws.
PICK-UP POLICY
Orders can be picked up at our designated location.
Orders must be picked up within 7 days after notification.
A $50 storage fee per day applies after 7 days.
HOW TO MEASURE WARP
Use a taut string or straight-edge on the concave face of the door and measure diagonally, horizontally, or vertically.
Allowable Warp Tolerance:
1-3/4 inch or thicker doors: 1/4 inch max warp.
• 1-3/8 inch doors: 1/4 inch max warp.
